The training covers the types of chemicals normally found, the hazards associated with them, and protective measurements to take while working in and around them.

This training does need to stay current and annual “refresher” training is required.

This course is required for on-site manager/supervisor directly responsible for supervising employees engaged in hazardous work operations.

The course is required for any employee who regularly engages in hazardous substance removal.

Understand what chemicals are hazardous and which ones are not.

Know the hazards of chemicals and how to use them safely.

Understand the proper PPE to use when working with hazardous chemicals.

Receive college credits for taking the 40 hour hazwoper training class through this site.
