Trenching Excavation Safety

We have Trenching & Excavation Competent Person Training in Salcha, Alaska

The training covers the types of trenches, protection needed at what depths, soil classifications and access procedures to name a few.

This training meets all OSHA 1926.650 procedures giving the student the knowledge to maintain a safe excavation site at all times.

Students will understand when protection is needed depending on the depth and type of soil you are working in.

This onsite training gives practical experience on the top of protection required to be used when employees enter a trench.

Each student will receive handout material which they can use as reference material for years to come.

This training assists your employees in becoming a competent person when developing and implementing rescue procedure for employees working in a trench

This class is taught on-site only at this time and provides all of the training needed for your company to designate the trainee as their “Competent Person.”

Course material provided in this classroom setting covers all types of protection which include trench boxes, sloping and benching depending on the specific excavation utilized by your company.
